I am a stay at home mom that enjoys many different crafts and hobbies. I enjoy making my own homemade soaps and toiletries as well as spinning wool and other fibers to use to make knitted and crochet items. I homeschool my children so my children are learning new skills as we create our crafty creations and I enjoy teach others new crafts and skills as well.

Fall Fiber Festival a HIT!
Well the fiber festival was a hit. We had 8 people who attended our very first fiber festival and they all said they had a great time and planned on bringing along more people with them next year. We did a great deal of fiber prep because people wanted to learn more about that and then we all sat and spun for about 3 hours. Next year we will be starting earlier in the morning because we will have shearing, skirting and scouring of fleece. I will see if I can dig up some pictures of the day. I had my camera along, but as always totally forgot to pull it out.
